Here is a great article for leaders out there. Although it is short I would challenge you to take each of the four and dig deeper for yourself and those you manage. Spend some time on each one before moving on to the next.
I read somewhere over the weekend that effective leaders spend 14% of their time building relationships while the successful ones spend over 50%. One thing that is very difficult for leaders to understand is that it is not about them. It is about the people around them and the relationships they create with them.
